1. Do you offer lessons for complete beginners?

Yes, we welcome complete beginners. Our adult lessons start with the basics, including how to mount, steer, and ride safely. No experience is needed.

2. What should I wear to my first lesson?

Wear comfortable trousers (no shorts) and boots with a small heel. We provide helmets and safety vests, so no need to buy your own right away.

3. Are private lessons available for adults?

Yes, we offer both private and small group sessions. Private lessons are perfect if you prefer one-on-one attention or want to improve at your own pace.

4. Do you have evening or weekend classes?

We do. Evening slots and weekend lessons are available for adult riders. Spaces can fill fast, so we recommend booking early.

5. Is there an age limit for adult riding lessons?

Not at all. We teach adults of all ages, from those in their 20s to people in their 60s or older. As long as you’re physically able, you’re welcome.

6. How much do lessons cost?

Prices vary depending on whether it’s a private or group session. Group lessons typically start from €25, with private sessions from €40. Package discounts are also available.

7. Can I try just one lesson before committing?

Yes, you’re welcome to book a one-off trial lesson before deciding if you’d like to continue weekly or join a package.

8. Do I need to bring anything with me?

Just wear suitable clothes and bring a bottle of water. We’ll supply all the horse gear and safety equipment you need.

I can't speak highly enough of the team - they put us right at ease, were obviously hugely experienced and knowledgeable. Even though we'd never even sat on a horse before they put us through our paces in the arena and lead us out into the forest on an amazing walk through fantastic scenery. My wife booked horse back riding for us during our trip to Ireland and we had a great time with our amazing guides, Holly and Clare (sorry, if I got a name wrong). They paired us up with horses that matches our experience (zero, lol) and we rode through a scenic Wicklow mountain trail. Your trip to Ireland is not complete without a ride through the countryside on a sweet horse! The horses are super cute and love to munch on the branches near by. The people are super nice and are very interactive. I would highly recommend whether you ride western or English or even if you have never ridden at all to come here and ride. Once you get on and start going you never want to get off!
